Letter: Come out to annual Goshen church dinner, raffle

To the editor:

Goshen Community Church, 2798 Gatesville Road, is hosting its 13th annual bean dinner, holiday bazaar, bake sale and quilt raffle on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The quilt this year is a queen size “Road to Oklahoma” in shades of purple and lavender made by Margi Underwood. It is entirely hand quilted. Tickets are $1 each or six tickets for $5 and will still be available at the event. Drawing for the quilt will be at 3 p.m. and you don’t have to be present to win.

The bean dinner consists of a bowl of soup, corn muffins, slaw and your choice of dessert and drink for a $5 donation. Pies, breads and cookies will be available at the bake sale.

We will have lots of needlework crafts at the bazaar — something for everyone. Hope to see you there!
