Dorothy A. Roberts, 84, of Bloomington, passed from this life at 3:37 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019 at Garden Villa of Bloomington.
Mrs. Roberts was born June 24, 1935, in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Ora and Mildred Sullivan Greathouse.
Dorothy was a homemaker and was formerly employed at the Roviar Shirt Factory.
She enjoyed giving to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals, The Human Society and Veteran Organizations.
Survivors include her children, Gary (Betty) Roberts of Columbus, Randall Roberts of Arizona, Teresa (David) Allender of Bloomington and Becky Roberts of Brown County; grandchildren, Terry, Joshua, Joshua P., Curtis, Jennifer and Christopher; 9 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Kathryn (Dwight) Davis of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Roberts; a brother, Charles Greathouse; and a sister, May “Pearly” Clark.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22 at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home, 1029 Washington St. in Columbus, with Virgil Clotfelter officiating.
Family and friends may call from noon to time of service Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Crouch Cemetery in Brown County.
