“Let us put our minds together and see what life we can make for our children.” — Sitting Bull, noted Native American leader.

I thought of the above quote when I read the letter from David Shaffer, former superintendent of Brown County schools (Nov. 20 paper).

During this time of year when we recall our blessings, it is a fact we can list Mr. Shaffer and his past crew, along with present Superintendent Laura Hammack and her staff of Brown County schools, as blessings. They truly care for all of our students.
