They have four children, Debra L. Winikates (John) of Columbus; John D. David (Tracy) of Houston, Texas; David R. David (Virginia) of Vancouver, Washington; Nathan Shields David of Harden, Texas; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

En route to their present designation, the couple resided in several cities, including Bloomington, Indiana; Richmond, Indiana; Kirkwood, Missouri and Bryan, Texas. They also spent time in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania; Tacoma, Washington and Provo, Utah.

They have shared bonding experiences together including family (including genealogy), friends, colleagues, being Hoosiers, AGGIES and mostly as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

A family gathering will take place this September to celebrate the occasion.
