To the editor:

Looking for something to do from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 4 or Saturday, June 5 or maybe June 11 or 12? Stop by the Brown County History Center Grand Hall for the 2021 Pioneer Women’s Club Quilt Exhibit.

Admission is free; of course, we will gratefully accept donations! Sponsors for the 2021 Quilt Exhibit are the Nashville Spice Company and the Yellow Door Quilt Store.

Visitors can view quilts from the collections of PWC members as well as a red, white and blue collection by quilter/collector Cindy Claycamp. In addition to seeing many never-before-displayed quilts, visitors can browse vendor booths and the well-known PWC Bargain Shop.

Raffle tickets will be available for the donation quilt and the treasure baskets. Proceeds support the Brown County Historical Society and the History Center. Check out our website, browncountyhistorycenter.org, to see some of the many activities the History Center offers.

After enjoying the Quilt Exhibit, be sure to take a walk through the Pioneer Village next door. The old jail is a favorite! Every Saturday this summer, Historical Society members will be in the village to answer questions or give insight to early Brown County times.

There’s lots going on in Nashville! Consider a trip to the History Center soon!
