William F. ‘Billy’ Couch

William F. ‘Billy’ Couch, age 63, passed away all too soon on Tuesday morning, Aug. 10, 2021 at his home in Trafalgar.

He was born Sept. 10, 1957 in Indianapolis to his parents, the late Farris L. and Bonnie Jean (Brewer) Couch. Billy was a 1975 graduate of Brown County High School. He worked as a Carpenter for Jungclaus-Campbell in Indianapolis from 1999 to 2012. After retirement, he stayed busy working in maintenance at Apple Works in Trafalgar.

Billy was a member of the Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters Union Local 301 in Bloomington. He enjoyed the outdoors by tending to his yard & garden, fishing and hunting. Billy was a fan of the Sci-Fi Channel, Indianapolis Colts and was an avid listener of the Indy 500 every year. He loved spending time with family, especially swimming with his granddaughter, Maya.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Cynthia E. (Creek) Couch, whom he married on November 26, 1977 in Brown County. He is also survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Nathaniel) Huber of Trafalgar; granddaughter, Maya Huber of Trafalgar; siblings, Sondra Kay Cline of Franklin, Charles (Catrina) Couch, Anthony Couch and Kevin Couch, all of Nineveh; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Billy’s wishes, he will be cremated and memorial donations are encouraged to be sent to the Alzheimer’s and Dementia – Greater Indiana Chapter, 50 E. 91st Street Ste 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
