PHOTO GALLERY: Brown County High School homecoming court receives their crowns

The votes were counted and crowns were handed out, Brown County High School has a new homecoming king and queen.

Seniors Josh Miller and Kylie Workman won king and queen this fall. They received their crowns and sashes during halftime of the homecoming football game Sept. 24 versus Greencastle High School.

Juniors Shelly Johnson and Blake Grider won the titles of homecoming princess and prince.

Seniors Oliva Mathis, Christy Sebastian and Cooper VanNess were also on the court competing for the title of king and queen. Senior Waylon Patrick was also nominated for king, but could not attend due to a cross-country conflict.

Sophomores Ava Kelly and Sawyer Gore were nominated for prince and princess along with freshmen Ava Sanders and Noah Lewis. Lewis was unable to attend, so Sanders was also escorted at halftime by Gore.
