The Brown County Humane Society was a recipient of $10,000 from Petco Love last spring and the funds were used this holiday season to care for some puppies.

The humane society received the money in April of 2021. The funds helped serve many animals in need, including the “H Puppies,” who arrived at the humane society in late 2021.

Funds allowed the puppies to get the care they needed over the holidays to be ready for their new homes in the New Year.

“We are happy to share that all are now happy with their new families,” a post on the humane society’s Facebook page states.

“Thanks, Petco Love for your help to make great things like this possible.”

Petco Love — formerly Petco Foundation — invests in organizations that “have the most impact,” according to their website.

“Through a decision model designed to evaluate and assess organizations alongside their peers, we empower those that are most productive and effective and work with a relentless determination to succeed,” the site states.
