The Brown County boys baseball team and the girls softball team were recently in action. As the spring season winds to a close, the players are looking toward the postseason. The Eagles baseball squad plays in Class 2A Sectional 45 at Austin, Brown County takes on Brownstown Central in the sectional opener. Before that, the Eagles finish the regular season Thursday, May 18 at Madison. The girls wrap up Thursday as well against Trinity Lutheran in their final home game. The Lady Eagles also meet Brownstown Central in the Class 2 A Sectional 45 at Brownstown in the third game. Both sectionals open play next week.
