U.S. Representative blames Biden

Dear Editor,

My thoughts and prayers are with Israel, our greatest friend and ally in the Middle East.

On (Oct. 6), Hamas carried out an evil and cowardly terrorist attack on defenseless Israeli civilians. Hundreds of innocent men, women, and children were murdered by Hamas terrorists. Among those murdered were at least twenty-two Americans. Dozens more were taken hostage, including American citizens. And Hamas is threatening to execute these hostages, streaming the murders online for the world to see.

Yet, the Biden administration has once again failed to rise to the occasion. After making a short statement on Saturday afternoon, President Biden has been MIA, and administration officials have failed to explain why they have cozied up to Hamas and Iran.

Shortly after taking office, Biden resumed payments to Hamas (which had been canceled under Trump) in a pathetic attempt to appease the terrorist regime.

And just a few weeks ago, in exchange for prisoners, the Biden administration sent $6 billion to Iran. Biden’s Secretary of State Antony Blinken claims there is no evidence Iran is involved – but Hamas THANKED Iran for their support in the attack on Israel.

Not only has Biden indirectly funded Hamas’s war on Israel, but he also left state-of-the-art weapons in the hands of the Taliban during his disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. Sadly, it’s possible many of these weapons are now being used by Hamas against Israel.

It couldn’t be clearer, Brown. Joe Biden’s weak foreign policy makes the world less safe for Americans. And it’s imperative that we replace him next year with a commonsense conservative leader who will stand up to our enemies.

I hope you will join me in praying for our friends in Israel in the difficult weeks and months ahead.

Erin Houchin

U.S. Rep, Indiana 6th District
