Family thankful for celebration of life

Dear editor,

The family of Sargent Valerie Ann (Lutes) Edmonds would like to thank all that participated in her “celebration of life ceremony.”

Special thanks go to CDR Keith Baker for his presentation of a plaque for her work with the Brown County Veteran’s Association in locating and securing monuments that were needed for several unmarked graves of Civil War and WWI Veterans.

Also thanks to Lindsey Lewis for arranging for Commander David Pete and the Brown County Honor Guard for their salute and playing taps.

Our family offers a “well done” to all who participated.
