Merirose (Covert) Rosebrock, age 80 passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, January 24, 2024 at IU Health – Bloomington. She was a resident of Nashville.Merirose was born November 2, 1943 in Indianapolis and attended Clark-Pleasant High School. Merirose was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Merirose also enjoyed tending to her garden that consisted of over 500 tomato plants every summer. She will be remembered for her love of decorating cakes, cookies and for her delicious homemade breads, rolls, fried chicken and homemade pizzas.

Merirose is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Wayne F. Rosebrock, whom she married on February 4, 1959 in Somerset, KY. She is also survived by her son, David (wife, Deb) Rosebrock of Nashville; daughter-in-law, Regina Rosebrock of Brown County; grandchildren, Danielle (husband, Chris) Ainsworth of Brown County, Hailey (husband, Michael) Taylor of Poca, West Virginia, Joshua (wife, Jessica) Rosebrock of Brown County, Taylor Rosebrock of Brown County, Jordan (husband, Kevin) McDaniel of Franklin and Austin Rosebrock of Brown County; and eleven great grandchildren.Merirose was preceded in death by a son, Richard Rosebrock.The Rev. Darrel Miller will conduct a funeral service on Tuesday, January 30th at 10:30 a.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 29th at the funeral home. Burial will be at Needmore Cemetery in Brown County.
