In 2001 the Brown County Community Foundation received a gift of $5 million to build a Career Resource Center.

This is, truly, a transformative gift for all Brown County people.

People can now achieve a high school diploma or learn trade skills through the CRC. They become more productive community members.

Voters in 2016 in the Brown County school district approved an eight-year levy of 8 cents for every $100 of assessed property value. This levy helped fund the CRC and Brown County schools.

Voters on May 7 will have the opportunity to vote yes on a new referendum to increase to 10 cents per $100 of assessed property value.

This increase will help attract and keep the best quality teachers and staff for the schools and the Career Resource Center.

Voting yes to the May 7 referendum will bring huge returns for all Brown County residents.
