Anna Hofstetter has resigned her town council seat. Sandie Jones Nashville Town Manager told the Democrat that the current town council members are accepting letters of interest to fill the position. Hoffstetter is official listed as an Independent.

The Nashville Town website officially has the open seat listed. Anyone interested in filling the seat has until Friday at 4 p.m. to submit their letters of interest.

Letters of interest can be emailed to Clerk-Treasurer Brenda Young at [email protected]. They can also be dropped off at the Nashville Town Hall or mailed to P.O. Box 446, Nashville, IN 47448.

The Town Council will make their council member appointment at the meeting on April 10 at 6 p.m. at the Nashville Town Hall.

The Democrat has not been able to reach Hofstetter for comment.
