Letter: Thanks for supporting BETA through youth music show

To the editor:

Brown County Enrichment for Teens Association Inc. would like to thank all those who helped to make our 2016 Youth Music Showcase fundraiser a big success.

Special thanks to Kara Barnard and Cari Ray for bringing the talent together, making the performers feel comfortable and energizing the audience. Big hugs and thanks to all the young people and their mentors who performed.

Gratitude goes out to the Brown County Playhouse for providing us a great space to host the event and to Hunter Riebl, Rebecca Ruth and Toby Myers for handling the equipment.

Thanks to all the artists and businesses who donated items for the silent auction. The proceeds from the auction fund many of the BETA teen center’s operating expenses. Special thanks to Mandy Johnloz and Christy McGinley-Hughes for coordinating and running the auction the night of the event.

And, of course, thanks to everyone who came out, bought a ticket, bid on auction items and contributed cash in the donation jars.

You are helping BETA to provide free programming to under-served teens every Tuesday after school and during the summer camp in the month of June.
