Letter: ‘Ted Adams is the person you want in your corner’

To the editor:

April 24, 2015, was the worst day of my life. I was given the news that the body of my daughter, Hannah Wilson, was found in a woods in Brown County. This letter is not to discuss that tragedy but to inform your readers and the voters of Brown County of my experience with your community.

In the days following Hannah’s funeral I made the first of many visits to Nashville, Indiana. I was to have my initial meeting with Ted Adams, the newly elected prosecutor. When I pulled into the parking lot of the very understated office building behind the courthouse, I was worried that the prosecutor in this small town would not be ready for a murder trial. How quickly my fears were put to ease.

What I didn’t expect to find was the most professional, compassionate, hard-working, dedicated, intelligent and very qualified prosecutor that I found in Ted Adams. He worked tirelessly and gave up time with his own family to make sure Hannah got the justice she deserved and that her killer would never be free again. I will be forever grateful to him for that guilty verdict.

I don’t care what political party you associate with, but I believe that voting for the best candidate is the right choice. I truly believe from firsthand experience that Ted Adams is the person you want in your corner as the prosecutor for Brown County.

Please cast your vote for Ted Adams on Nov. 6.

Sincerely,

Robin Wilson, Hamilton County
