Brown County Democrat gearing up for first Haunted History Walk

Bruton

Have you ever heard the legend of the Brown County man who died twice? How about the mystery of Indiana’s Stonehenge, located right here in Van Buren Township? It’s said to be home to sightings of Bigfoot, UFOs and the mysterious phantom named the Watcher?

If you are familiar with the Story Inn’s Blue Lady, you are on the right track — a narrow and winding track that will lead you to the unfamiliar hauntings, mysteries and legends of beguiling Brown County.

Many of Nashville’s buildings are home to generations of history, and do you know what comes with history? Why haunts, of course!

The Brown County Democrat is gearing up to host its first-ever Brown County Haunted History Tour on Friday, Oct, 25 at 7 p.m..

Reporter Dakota Bruton is busy hitting the books and archives to find the very best spooky tales in the county. She will lead those on the tour through downtown Nashville for around an hour, sharing the spooky and fun stories her research uncovered.

The tour will continue rain or shine, so bring an umbrella and wear comfortable shoes — let’s finally choose comfort, just this once!

Tickets for the event can be purchased at the Democrat’s office and will be sold out once 30 slots are filled, so time is of the essence people!

Tickets are $13 for one, or two for $20.

If you have ghost stories and spooky tales that you would like to share with the staff at the Democrat, send us an email at [email protected] — if you dare!
