Letter: Kids on Wheels group thankful for support so far

To the editor:

Kids on Wheels would like to start by sincerely thanking Maria Sanderson and the Brown County Art Guild for hosting a concert benefiting the KOW project. Thank you Ginger Knight, the owner of Johnny’s Grub To Go, for her fabulous food donation to the concert. Thank you BETA (Brown County Enrichment for Teens Association) for co-sponsoring this event with the art guild, and supporting KOW this past year.

A sincere thank-you to the Fabulous 50 Women’s Giving Circle for awarding KOW with a $5,000 grant.

We also give a big thanks to Larry Pejeau and the Brown County Community Foundation Inc. for their continued support.

Thank you to Betsy Lease for hosting an event benefiting KOW, and Big Woods for its donation to the event.

Without these wonderful events, many donations and continued support, our goal, dream and vision would be lost.

KOW plans to use the funds raised to purchase and build a community park. This park will feature a skate park, gaga pit, shelter house, picnic tables, tractor tire swings and much more!

Kids on Wheels is extremely appreciative and grateful to our community for their continued support on this project. KOW’s goal and mission is to create a fun and safe place for kids, teens and families of our community to gather, relax and skateboard!

Respectfully submitted by,

Kids on Wheels Committee (submitted by Erin Engleking)
