Letter: Little Free Library replaced outside IGA

To the editor:

Like some, you may have panicked when you noticed that the well-worn Little Free Library at the IGA had been sawed off its pole.

Not to worry! Awesome Brown County citizen Joe Watson simply removed it so he could replace it with the gorgeous new box he designed and built.

Our community has lots to be thankful for, especially for people like Joe who step in and solve problems with no expectation of acknowledgment. That goes for Linda and Bill Todd, too, who administered our county’s Little Free Library program for years and helped to facilitate this replacement.

Thank you also to IGA for their support of literacy in Brown County by continuing to host this Little Free Library and letting us use their shopping carts to distribute books to kids during parades.

Thank you Joe, Linda, Bill and IGA!
