Notice is hereby given that the Hamblen Township Fire Protection District will be accepting sealed bids until 4:00pm on Wednesday September 11, 2019 for asphalt paving of approximately 16000 square feet of paving in front of the Hamblen Fire Station. Bids should include confirmation that the existing base is sufficient to accommodate fire apparatus of 80,000 pounds or suggest the added base that would be required. Grading to prepare the site for adequate drainage to the pond and preparation for paving. Thickness of the base course of asphalt and the hot asphalt top coat to be at least 6 inches with a liquid asphalt tack coat applied between the two layers.

All bids should be mailed to Hamblen Township Fire Protection District, Attention Roy Shea, 6593 Sweetwater Trail Nineveh, IN 46164. All bids will be publicly opened and read on September 12, 2019 at the Hamblen Fire Station. By Roy Shea, Sec/Treas.
