Easter basket buffet
The Toy Chest, 125 S. Van Buren St., will host an Easter Basket Buffet on April 9 from noon to 5 p.m.
Participants can build their own Easter basket by walking through a “buffet” line and choosing a basket, a stuffed bunny or gift and candy.
Tickets can be purchased by buying a $50 basket or a $100 umbrella. It is encouraged to buy tickets before the event. Tickets can be purchased at browncountytoychest.com/products/easter-buffet-basket-easterbuff-1.
Holy Week services set
BEAN BLOSSOM — Several Holy Week services are planned at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 11 State Road 45.
A Palm Sunday service is planned for April 10 at 9:30 a.m. The service will include Sunday of the Passion with the Liturgy of the Palms.
A Maundy Thursday service is planned for April 14 at 7 p.m. The service will include the Holy Eucharist and Foot Washing.
Good Friday services are planned for April 15 at noon and 7 p.m. The noon service will be a Contemplative Meditative Service and the 7 p.m. service will include worship with a reading of Passion Gospel according to John.
An Easter Sunday service is planned for April 17 at 9:30 a.m. The service will include worship with the Eucharist.
Egg hunt at Deer Run Park
Brown County Parks and Recreation will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 16 at 1 p.m. in Deer Run Park, 1001 Deer Run Lane.
Children ages 2 to 10 can bring their Easter basket and hunt for eggs throughout the park.
Due to the pandemic, the Easter Bunny will not be making an appearance.
Easter egg hunt at the Y
The Brown County YMCA, 105 Willow St., will host an Easter egg hunt on April 16 at 10 a.m.
The hunt will take place in the pool area. All ages are welcome, but children ages 2 through 12 will be split into groups.
Each age group will have 10 minutes to collect eggs and ducks, then turn them in for a goody bag.
Sunrise service, breakfast
HELMSBURG — A sunrise service is planned at Jackson Township Fire Department, 4831 Helmsburg Road, on Easter Sunday, April 17 at 6:30 a.m.
The service will be followed by a breakfast.
Easter services, breakfast
FREETOWN — A sunrise service is planned at Becks Grove Christian Church, 8009 Becks Grove Road, at 7 a.m. Easter Sunday, April 17.
The service will be followed by a breakfast and a morning worship service will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Easter breakfast, brunch
The Brown County Inn, 51 State Road 46 East, will host an Easter Breakfast Buffet and an Easter Brunch Buffet on Easter Sunday, April 17. Breakfast will be served from 8 to 11 a.m. and brunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Prices for breakfast are $12 for adults and $8 for children ages 5 to 11. Brunch prices are $26 for adults and $15 for children ages 5 to 11.

Easter buffet
The Little Gem Restaurant at Abe Martin Lodge, 1801 State Road 46 East, will host an Easter buffet on Easter Sunday, April 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Prices are $26.99 for adults and $13.99 for children ages 4 to 10. Children under 4 are free.
