Joyful noise lifts spirits at annual PTO event; Students, community members perform for teachers, staff of Brown County schools

The Stars were out and shining bright.

Stars, as in the student performers in the 2023 Spring PTO Concert that was held at Brown County High School on May 18.

The evening, presented by Brown County PTO Council, saw numerous performances and uplifting music. It began with a dinner featuring food from local restaurants and was concluded with the concert that began at 5 p.m.

Brian Galm acted as emcee for the evening with Clara Stanley performing on the piano. Performances came from Jenna Sears and the Brown County Middle and High School choirs in which they sang Happy Days Are Here Again and No One is Alone in honor of the retiring Pam Bond.

Other performances included Alayna Jacobus, John Wietlisbach, Noel Pryzybyla, Kurt and Margine Young, Mike Bube, Alice Suse-Michel, Daniel Webb, Bob Wilsey, Connie Shakalis, Sally Gaskill and Mary Carol Reardon.
