What does Easter mean to you?

0

Easter has many different religious significances. From the resurrection of Jesus, the end of passover to the last day of Easter Triduum the Easter holiday is the most holy day on the Christian calendar. The modern holiday is often celebrated through easter egg hunts with symbols like rabbits and chickens in addition to the Easter religious services. The Easter Bunny gained notoriety in the United States in the 1700s and has been a modern-day hero for children and chocolate lovers everywhere during this celebration. Easter is a positive reminder of rebirth, renewal and the new season.

We sent our reporter Dakota Bruton to ask people on the streets of Nashville what Easter means to them. From faith and family to Cadbury eggs, these people had the right kind of ideas on how to spend their Easter celebrations.
