With the arrival of the brand-new Brown County Music Center and a multitude of musical acts taking the stage, knowing your way around the Ticketmaster app can come in handy.

To help those who are unfamiliar with the app, we have created a step-by-step guide to downloading the app and purchasing tickets. There are many benefits to using the Ticketmaster app and we’re here to explain why.

The Ticketmaster app is surprisingly intuitive and easy to navigate once you know your way around. The biggest advantages include being able to transfer tickets to others with ease, the helpful alerts you can sign up for so you never miss a show or discount opportunity, and accessing your seat at any time with the touch of a button.

To download the Ticketmaster app, go to your app store on your phone. Search Ticketmaster and the app should show up at the top. Make sure you select the Ticketmaster app with a blue background accompanied by a lowercase “t.” The app is free to download.

Once the app is downloaded, the next steps are fairly simple:

1. Go to the search bar and type in the show you would like to purchase tickets to, along with the venue name. For example: Clint Black Brown County Music Center.

2. Select your seats by clicking on them as they are listed or by clicking on the section you would like to sit in. There is also a button you can press that says “Switch to Map” in the upper left corner. This button allows you to hand-select your seats by looking at each one that is available. The seats that are open are shown by blue dots and the seats that are sold are in gray. You select the blue dots you want by touching them. The different areas of the maps may have different prices, so keep this in mind when you’re looking for seats.

3. After you are done selecting all of your seats, click the green button that says “Get Tickets.”

4. Enter your payment information. Ticketmaster is a protected site.

5. Select how you would like your tickets delivered. You can select mobile tickets and have them sent straight to your phone or you can have hard tickets mailed to you.

If you get stuck in a queue, this is essentially a virtual line you are waiting in. There could be one or multiple people in front of you. Tickets are based on availability at that time and based on of your place in line.

Don’t worry; if you are attending the concert with friends or family, it is possible to share your mobile tickets with ease by following these steps:

1. Sign into your account and click on your event to find your tickets.

2. Click the “Transfer Tickets” button.

3. Select the tickets you’d like to transfer.

4. Enter your recipient’s first and last name, email address and an optional note.

5. Click the “Send” button.

It’s just that easy! If you have further questions the Ticketmaster site is here to help. Simply go to https://help.ticketmaster.com and a list of frequently asked questions and simple answers will walk you through what you need to do.

Purchasing mobile tickets at box office

There are benefits to coming to the box office, which is currently at the Brown County Visitors Center, 211 S. Van Buren St. in Nashville.

There are box office staff members available to walk you through the purchasing process should you have questions. There are no service fees when you buy tickets at the box office.

The box office hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If you purchase mobile tickets from the box office, you will receive a link via text message on your phone. This link connects you to your tickets. Once you tap the link, the tickets will load into your Ticketmaster app and will be stored there for whenever you need to use or share them with others.
